Sharing OER

Page history last edited by Tracey Madden 14 years, 1 month ago

These places to share OER include repositories (where material is uploaded or links to material are stored) and Web 2.0 sharing sites.

Repositories (general)

JorumOpen - section of JISC funded Jorum specifically for open resources with a Creative Commons licence. Resources can up loaded or their urls stored. Uploaders need an account which is gained through federated access (so is limited to those working in UK HEIs.)

Merlot - US repository for educational material including those with a Creative Commons license. Rather than uploading, new resources are added by storing their url. An account is needed to upload but this is open to all.
